Much of my young life was spent in the woods and after living in a city for more than a year I’ve come to realize how much more important I cherish those natural places. I want to capture in film the same feeling I have when I return to nature but from the setting of a city. I want to attempt to bring forth a nostalgia for a place in which I am not nostalgic and explore the atmosphere of how cities coexist in nature but represent something completely different, that of the man-made. I intend to not film Paris in a grandiose or picturesque style, but rather I hope to focus on the sounds and smaller pockets, where more personal connection between someone and their surroundings can occur when all else is absent. / 2021
